On this day, Kat and I learned on the way to NYC, and I learned again on the way home, that some road food is just not meant to be eaten on the road. Pull up a seat in the restaurant and relax and take a break, because it doesn’t save any time if you later figure out that you have to pull over and eat, and it’s not good for the inside of the car! Trying to drive and eat could be bad for the outside of the car!
We did have some yummy messy food though!
I have learned this: When storing trash for a long time, such as a week at your vacation location, double bag it from the start. Believe me. Just do it.

Who knew??? Kat knew, and taught me (on vacation!), that Outlook has COLORED FLAGS that can be set, and sorted on, for each message! I love this!
Now if she could only get me to clear the 5509 unread messages in my Inbox…

I had to learn this AGAIN: the GPS does NOT work in cowpath-based downtown Boston! Unless you consider “working” to be a device that just chants “recalculating” as you proceed down the proscribed route!
I have learned that I am amazingly resilient and that my optimism is baked right in to the core of me.
