I have learned this: When storing trash for a long time, such as a week at your vacation location, double bag it from the start. Believe me. Just do it.

Deserving

For two months I have faithfully been signing up for a chance to win the HGTV Green home Sweepstakes 2010 Plymouth, Ma green home. Why not! I would love to be back in New England. I figured I would work out the financial picture after I won. Right? I lost, but that’s ok because Sandra Gilson and her husband Kermit won. Yes, Kermit won the Green house! In the words of a blogger, ” It’s not easy being green…wait, it just got easier! Actually, they are a nice retired couple from western NY, and garden extensively. Go Green!”

Who knew??? Kat knew, and taught me (on vacation!), that Outlook has COLORED FLAGS that can be set, and sorted on, for each message! I love this!
Now if she could only get me to clear the 5509 unread messages in my Inbox…
Homecoming

You can order a pizza on-line from the California Pizza Kitchen in the Pru and pick it up on your way home.
You can even select and de-select toppings for your pizza while placing your order.
Still Broken in Beantown
I had to learn this AGAIN: the GPS does NOT work in cowpath-based downtown Boston! Unless you consider “working” to be a device that just chants “recalculating” as you proceed down the proscribed route!
